Christmas Time

We have been having a blast doing Christmas-y things lately.

Gingerbread house making at our house:

House warming party at the Kunzlers.
Will and Mike owning Karaoke.Nothing says, "Welcome to your gorgeous new home," like peeing on their brand new carpet, let me tell ya. Thanks Reagan.

Will, being Buddy the Elf, at the Ward Christmas Party for the second year in a row.
Buddy made sure to cover the four food groups: candy, candy corn, candy canes, and syrup. Syrup was strategically placed on the buffet table. And Buddy made the rounds to all the tables, pouring abundantly when queued. Kids would repeatedly come up to him with open rolls requesting syrup! Parents couldn't have loved that, wait... "Is there sugar in syrup?"
The other three food groups were passed out by hand. Will was mauled by kids.

Reagan thought her dad was a rock star.

No pictures were taken but we got together with my high school friends in Draper for a Christmas Party. So fun! I love catching up and seeing everyone. So grateful for good friends!!

Then, having my first attempt at gingerbread house making being adversely affected by too thin of frosting, I decided to invite some more friends over for a second attempt. Fun times.

Perhaps my favorite of Christmas events was going to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's Christmas Concert with David Archuleta as guest singer. PHENOMENAL!!! It really was a spectacular show and what made it even better was spending the evening with Josh and Jenn.

Annual Office Christmas Party at the Macfarlane's

And a really fun evening was spent at the McQueen's for the Salt Lake Northwestern Mutual Christmas Party.

With all the evenings out, Will and I are pooped! And the kids and our wallets have had enough of babysitters. Time to spend some time as a family this Christmas week. I love Christmas!
