Christmas Lights at Temple Square

The Friday after Thanksgiving we decided to go see the lights at Temple Square. We got to see the life size nativity and listen to the program and also see the Christus Statue. Earlier that day Will and Dennis happened to see on the news that the Grand America was hosting their first annual Christmas Party for the public that night....perfect!!! Free hot chocolate (the best hot chocolate I've ever had, so rich!), scones, and sugar roasted almonds. I am always stunned how grand the Grand America really is, absolutely amazing! It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The main party was outside in the courtyard but then inside their was a room for decorating gingerbread cookies, a long hall displayed with fantastic gingerbread houses, and their Presidential Suite on the 23rd floor was decorated with teddy bears becoming an incredible Teddy Bear Land. Yeah, we'll definitely be returning next year!
